Here Come The Mummies coming to Seminole Casino Immokalee18 August 2015(PRESS RELEASE) -- Get infected and cured by Here Come The Mummies as they bring their Viral Tour to Seminole Casino Immokalee on Saturday, October 10 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now. Featuring Eddie Mummy, Java, K.W. Tut, Mummy Cass, Spaz, The Pole, Midnight, Mummy Rah and The Flu, Here Come the Mummies is deeply shrouded in mystery. Nightly, the band is roused from a sort of semi-vegetative torpor to perform funk/ R&B originals chiefly extolling the virtues, and vices, of the opposite sex… All in search of the ultimate riff, which they believe may unlock an ancient curse and let them finally rest in peace. 2013 saw HCTM pool what remained of their dusty hearts, addled brains, and withered appendages to make “Cryptic”, their acclaimed sixth studio album. 2014 saw HCTM at its most prolific with the release of four 5-song EPs, “A La Mode”, “Pull it Off”, “Shocker” and “MuertoDiesel”. An adapted version of “Rejuvannihilation”, HCTM’s latest full-length concert film, aired across the US in season three of Public Television’s “Front and Center”. In September 2014, HCTM’s song “Pants” aired on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. February of 2015 brought the launch of HCTM’s Viral Tour, which includes festival appearances at the 15th annual Summer Camp Music Festival, as well as Common Ground, and Riverbend, and Voodoo Fest. Some say they were cursed after deflowering a great Pharaoh’s daughter. Others claim they are reincarnated Grammy-winning studio musicians. Regardless, HCTM’s mischievous personas, cunning song-craft, and unrelenting live show will bend your brain, and melt your face. General Admission tickets are available for $35. Guests must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets may be purchased at the casino or charge by phone at 800-218-0007. |
