Hawaiian woman becomes instant millionaire

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Jessica Agbunag, of Waipahu, Hawaii, never thought that she would become an instant millionaire during her first visit to Las Vegas but, late yesterday, November 18, she did. After investing only $16, the 24-year- old hit a $2,436,465 Wheel of Fortune® dollar MegaJackpot® at the California Hotel and Casino.

"I had been wining on the machine since I got here," she said. "I thought I won $2,000 and was pretty excited, and then my boyfriend told me it was $2 million. I was ecstatic."

The lucky winner was visiting Las Vegas with her family and friends in celebration of her deceased grandmother's birthday. Agbunag said she plans to use a portion of her winnings to pay some bills.
