Harrah's Employees Rewarded

CHEROKEE, North Carolina – As reported by the (North Carolina) Citizen-Times: "All those days of perfect attendance last quarter paid off in a big way Thursday for Robert Tadlock, a janitor at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel.

"He won a check for $20,000 during the casino's employee awards ceremony.

"…Including Tadlock's prize, the company gave $250,000 to its employees for improved service and exceeding goals in customer satisfaction.

"The casino gives an award for perfect attendance each quarter. It started at $7,500 when the casino opened. Tadlock's check was the largest yet.

"…Michell Hicks, principal chief of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, which operates the casino, said the awards are a testament to the hard work of casino employees…"
