Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sarcramento extends temporary closure

30 April 2020

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain announced that it will not be reopening on 1 May as previously planned. Below is a statement posted on the casino's website.

"We hope you and your families are well since we’ve been together here at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain. It’s been too long.

We are optimistic that we are seeing success in our communities related to “flattening the curve” and keeping each other healthy. We’ve been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and working with local county and state authorities to guide us in determining the right time to reopen. In the interest of the health of our guests, team members, and the community, we will not be reopening on the May 1st date we were previously targeting. The good news is that a reopening day is quickly approaching, and we hope to have an update shortly given upcoming direction from the Governor’s office as well as the Yuba Sutter Health District.

We’re just as ready for things to get back to normal as you are. In the interim, we have implemented our Health and Safety Program which is a comprehensive plan focused on cleaning and sanitizing initiatives, social distancing, and enhanced screening procedures to go above and beyond to ensure we have the appropriate safe environment for you to enjoy when you visit. This has been developed with guidance from public health experts and authorities working closely with Hard Rock International. Rest assured that we’ll keep you up to date on these programs and let you know when we’re ready to get the band back together.

In addition, we are implementing our “You Sang, We Listened” program which takes guest feedback and transforms ideas and comments into new amenities and services at our property. Since our opening, we have welcomed thousands of guests throughout the Northern California region and have received tremendous positive and productive feedback. We have a passionate team committed to ongoing hospitality, and we are very excited to begin sharing these enhancements with you regularly in May leading up to our reopening.

Although the world we live in may be a bit different when you return, I can assure you that there will be new and exciting features at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain to experience when our doors open again."
