Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain extends closure date to 1 May

15 April 2020

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain announced today that it is extending its temporary closure until 1 May.

Here is the official statement from President Mark Birtha:

"We are all making our way through this “new normal”. That notable lyric says it all as we wait to get back to doing the things we enjoy in our daily lives.

Unfortunately, it is a calling that’ll have to wait a little while longer. We continue to receive directives and recommendations from Governor Newsom’s Office and Tribal Advisor, in conjunction with the Yuba Sutter Health District, in order to determine the appropriate time to reopen. Thus, we are extending our temporary closure through May 1. We will, of course, keep you updated as the situation evolves.

“Love All, Serve All,” is more than just a Hard Rock motto. It’s our way of life. That probably sounds like a cliché but it’s true. At its core, working in hospitality means taking care of people. And for our amazing team here at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain, it’s a calling as much as it is a career. We are providing our team members with the ability to receive their wages through the end of April and have already made the decision to cover benefits until June 1 should the closure be extended.

Farewell, for now, friends. We’ll be together soon.

Sincerely,

Mark Birtha"
