Hard Rock Casino in Lake Tahoe hosting party weekend18 October 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Nationally acclaimed musicians Justin Martin and Z-Trip will headline a two-day party for the homecoming of the “Christina,” an iconic Playa art car, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Lake Tahoe. The first Docked at Hard Rock weekend includes music, dancers, VIP table service on the pool deck, after parties and hotel packages, 1 and 2 November. The talents of Justin Martin, an American House DJ/producer based in San Francisco, will help christen the party atmosphere the first night of festivities on Friday, 1 November. Martin first entered the electronic music scene in 2003 and consequently helped develop Dirtybird Records while also booking international festivals. The next night, Zach Sciacca, better known as DJ Z-Trip, an American DJ and producer from Phoenix, Arizona, will make his splash, climbing aboard “Christina” to lead the charge on Saturday, 2 November. Z-Trip, "America's Best DJ" (2009), is a pioneer of the mashup movement, and has worked with renowned artists including LL Cool J, Dan the Automator and Public Enemy. For the past eight years, the “Christina” has voyaged through the Playa and will mark its homecoming with its first public venture on private property in Tahoe where it was moored during its sailing days before being transformed into an art car. The two-day celebration and “Christening for Christina” will be highlighted with nationally acclaimed musicians, fire spinners, Boots 'n Cats Gogos, Psychedelic Sailors dancing atop the boat, and 104-degree giant hot tub. Tickets are $25 for one-day; $45 for both nights during the early bird sale online dockedtathardrock.com. Daybeds, cabanas and reserved tables with bottle service are also available for purchase at dockedtathardrock.com. Event packages for both days are available with VIP table service included: Friday Cabana, Friday VIP Table Service, Friday Daybed; Saturday Cabana, Saturday VIP Table Service, Saturday Daybed. Each night’s celebration begins at 6 p.m., with a nightly after party indoors at Vinyl Nightclub and Center Bar at midnight. Overnight visitors and first mates can revel in the “Christina’s” homecoming with lodging packages. The Captains Package includes two nights in a balcony suite and two tickets to Docked at Hard Rock for the weekend, $389. The Crew Package includes a two-night stay in a double queen room, as well as two tickets for the entire event, $319. The Cabin Package includes a two-night stay in a king room and two tickets to the weekend’s events, $259. Packages available for 1 to 3 November. |
