Group Makes Offer for California Card Club

CALIFORNIA – As reported by the Mercury News: "Perhaps this week, the bankrupt Garden City Casino's seven-year spell without an owner may end. A group from Contra Costa County has stepped up to make an offer and anyone else who wants to buy the 58-year-old card club will have to beat a Monday deadline to file a bid with the trustee overseeing the casino.

"Little is known about the Contra Costa group: Dina Di Martino, 40; Peter V. Lunardi III, 48; Jeanine Lunardi, 42; and Eric Swallow, 43, who has been designated as the group's spokesman.

"…Filings in the California Secretary of State's Office show Swallow as an executive with Digital Creative Broadcasting.

"Those filings also list Peter Lunardi as the agent for service for Lunardi Properties and Lunardi Investments in Diablo…"
