Great Canadian Casinos Interested in Racetrack

VANCOUVER, BC – As reported by the Thoroughbred Times: "A day after Woodbine Entertainment Group announced it plans to sell Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Great Canadian Casinos indicated it might be a potential suitor.

"'We'll look to see if there's a fit for us, to see if the racetrack would be a viable addition to our family,' Howard Blank, executive director of Great Canadian Casinos, told the Vancouver Sun.

"…Phil Heard, president of Hastings Entertainment Inc., the Woodbine subsidiary that operates Hastings Park, said that the deadline for purchase proposals is March 31 and a deal could be completed by April 30…"
