Gold Strike Casino welcomes Tim Buie to lead piano Fridays7 January 2020(PRESS RELEASE) -- World-renowned piano entertainer Tim Buie will lead dueling pianos each Friday in January at Moneyline Book, Bar & Grill at MGM Resorts International’s Gold Strike Casino Resort. Buie has performed in 40 countries in his more than 30 years tickling the ivories. The self-proclaimed “Ric Flair of Dueling Pianos,” Buie made his way into the “Guinness Book of World Records” for non-stop marathon piano playing. His first world record was 61 hours and 3 minutes. He broke his own record one year later when he performed for 63 hours and 11 minutes. His repertoire encompasses every type from R&B, country, classical, rag-time and Top 40 to every genre in between. Buie’s vibrant vocals and precision piano playing are full of energy and excitement as he plays the hits and takes song requests. Dueling pianos will entertain in Moneyline from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Fridays from 10 January – 13 March. Buie will be joined by Adam Heart on 10 and 24 January, and Nate Sangsland on 17 January. Heart and Joe Boogie will duel 7,14 and 28 February and Tom Basler will join Heart on 21 February, Buie returns in March, playing along with Basler for two dates, 6 and 13 March. Moneyline’s opening in August introduced the next evolution of sports entertainment in the Mid-South with more than 60 HD screens, including a giant video wall, expansive bar, sportsbook, VIP lounge and the region’s first Topgolf Swing Suite.
