Gold Reef City Casino Invests in Expansion

SOUTH AFRICA – As reported by Mining Weekly: 'Gold Reef City Casino will be investing R240-million in a 17-month development and refurbishment programme that will see the casino add a range of new facilities to its premises, as well as revamp the look and feel of existing interiors.

"The casino has earmarked R240-million of capital expenditure for the project, which includes the construction of a new smoking casino, a Gold Card lounge and an entertainment venue. The fast food areas, the Salon Prive, the main gaming floor and ceilings in front of house areas will all be refurbished.

"Development work started early in July and is expected to be complete by November next year…"
