Go-Go's to perform at California casino19 March 2012PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Go-Go’s, the all-female American rock band who became international pop rock icons, will bring their new “Ladies Gone Wild Tour” to Pala Casino Resort and Spa’s Infinity showroom at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, May 6. The Go-Go’s made history as the first all-female band that wrote their own music and lyrics and played their own instruments during a meteoric rise to fame in the early 1980s. Their debut album, Beauty and the Beat, is considered one of the cornerstone albums of new wave music. Led by their single, We Got the Beat, the album sold more than three million copies and reached triple platinum, making it one of the most successful debut albums in history. The Go-Go’s have sold more than seven million albums.
