GameCo continues nationwide VGM rollout2 August 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- GameCo, Inc., creator of the world's first skill-based Video Game Gambling Machines (VGM), announced today that the company has recently installed four of its popular Pharaoh's Secret Temple VGMs in prominent locations on the casino floor at Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina. Managed by Caesars Entertainment, Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort will feature a real Match 3 video game experience where the players ability influences the amount you can win. Harrah's Cherokee will be the third jurisdiction in the U.S. for GameCo deployments. "We are focused on offering the highest levels of entertainment and value for our guests, and the introduction of GameCo's unique and innovative video game gambling units is an important part of our ability to fulfill this goal," said Adam West, Vice President of Casino Operations. "By introducing this new form of gaming entertainment in our market, we continue to elevate the guest experience at our property." "We are excited to expand the availability of our unique, new skill-based video game gambling machines to Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort," said Blaine Graboyes, co-founder and CEO of GameCo. "Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort has demonstrated a strong commitment to enhance the value experience for their guests, including the introduction of new forms of casino gaming entertainment." GameCo's VGMs combine the experience of playing video games with the excitement of gambling to create new gaming entertainment experiences for the gaming floor. Pharaoh's Secret Temple is a Match3 game in which players embark on an adventure to unlock the riches of the Pharaoh's secret temple by matching gems to collect rare treasures before their time runs out. Appealing to casual gamers and current slot players, Pharaoh’s Secret Temple features awesome boosts, power-up prizes, charms and Egyptian-themed traps. Graboyes added, "GameCo's VGMs offer completely new experiences for current casino players while helping to attract new players who love the excitement and thrills of video games, such as the 23 million gamers who are over 21 and not intrigued by existing slot machine offerings. Casino operators are expressing a strong desire to generate incremental revenue from a new generation of players, and our VGMs allow them to engage with guests who are seeking a more interactive and immersive gaming experience." GameCo changed history in November 2016 when it became the first skill-based gaming company in the world to debut its video game gambling machine on casino floors in Atlantic City. GameCo recently deployed VGMs at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut and plans to be operational in most major U.S. gambling jurisdictions by the end of 2017. Internationally, the Company has expanded to properties in Aruba, and St. Maarten and is actively pursuing opportunities across the world in various regions including Europe, South America and Asia. GameCo's proprietary video game gambling platform was approved by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), the industry's leading testing and compliance certification agency, under the GLI-11 v 2.1 standard, providing a clear path to market in most jurisdictions that currently operate electronic poker or blackjack machines. |
