Foxwoods to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino and Tanger Outlets will think pink for a cause this October with the return of the PinkSTYLE shopping program, aimed at raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. Proceeds from the program will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and ECHO Cancer Foundation of Norwich, a local non-profit that provides supportive services, guidance and education to cancer patients and caregivers.

From 1 - 31 October, Foxwoods guests can participate by purchasing Pink Cards for $5 that will unlock 25% discounts throughout the property, including:

  • 25% OFF endless use Pink Cards on any item at great Tanger Outlet stores such as Banana Republic, H&M, JCrew, Steve Madden, Gap and Under Armour
  • Select world-class entertainment acts at the Fox and Grand Theaters: Il Divo (7 October), Brian Setzer Orchestra (19 November), Donny & Marie Osmond (26 and 27 November), Legends in Concert (25 November through 1 January)
  • Producer and Director Suites in the Fox Tower (Guests can book using the code PINK16; Card must be presented at check-in)
  • Membership or next admission to the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center
  • Free pink dauber at High Stakes Bingo Hall with paid bingo admission

"We look forward to teaming up with Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods to raise funds and awareness through this program, and also rewarding guests for their generosity and attention toward breast cancer research throughout the month of October."

Since 1994, Tanger Outlets locations across the country have raised more than $14 million to battle breast cancer, and plan to raise another $1 million this year.

To support PinkSTYLE, visit participating stores at the Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods to purchase a Pink Card. Digital versions of the card can also be purchased and downloaded at the Tanger Outlets website.
