Foundation hosts benefit to save music and the arts in Bonsall School District18 April 2012BONSALL, Calif. (PRESS RELEASE) -- Bonsall Education Foundation is hosting a benefit concert, Bonsallpalooza 2012, on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Pala Casino Resort and Spa from 6pm-9pm. This special benefit concert is intended to raise the funds needed to provide music and art programs for the Bonsall School District. Bonsallpalooza 2012 features performances by local bands including Reno Jones, The Night Doctors, Hot Flannel and Y3K. In addition to our headlining bands, a silent auction and raffle will be showcasing donated prizes available for bidding throughout the evening. Rarely does a night of live music directly improve the lives of over 2,000 children. With state and federal budget cuts directly impacting educational curriculum in our public schools, we as a local community have been driven to help fund programs that are no longer supported by the schools. The Bonsall Education Foundation was developed by parents, teachers, school administrators and local business owners for the sole purpose of providing private funds for public education. Bonsallpalooza represents our largest fund-raising campaign for the year and one-hundred percent of ticket sales go directly to the music and art programs at our schools. Concert ticket prices are $40 per ticket and there will be a Pre-Show Hospitality Party featuring an informal private band performance from 3pm-5pm for an additional cost of $20 per ticket.
