Below is the update posted on the casino's website. "In the interest of public health and safety, in the face of COVID-19, (coronavirus) the Siletz Tribal Council and the Chinook Winds Senior Executive team, announced the closure of Chinook Winds Casino and Golf Course operations effective 9pm Tuesday, March 17, 2020, with an original goal of reopening April 1, 2020. It is clear the threat posed by the COVID-19 pandemic requires Chinook Winds Casino Resort to remain closed beyond that date.
