Empire City Casino honors Veterans Day8 November 2021(PRESS RELEASE) -- In honor of Veterans Day next week, Empire City Casino by MGM Resorts will offer discounts to Mlife Veteran cardholders from 8-12 November as a part of a larger promotional effort offered throughout the country at MGM Resorts properties. As background, MGM Resorts is a leader in providing support and opportunity to veterans and their families across the country. MGM Resorts is one of the nation’s most supportive employers for members of the National Guard and Reserve, according to the Department of Defense’s Office of Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve, and is a coalition member of the Veteran Jobs Mission which aims to hire one million U.S. military veterans and spouses. As part of the commitment, Empire City will offer veteran cardholders 20% off at The Big Kitchen food court with valid proof of military service. This Veterans Day initiative is just one example of MGM’s commitment to honoring and serving veterans. Each year, MGM Resorts honors U.S. service members by hosting the Salute to the Troops at The Mirage MGM property in Las Vegas, which provides veterans an extended weekend of rest and relaxation, entertainment and sightseeing. Additionally, MGM Resorts sponsors the annual Nevada Veterans Day parade recognizing active-duty personnel and veterans.
