DraftKings retail sportsbook set to open at Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi28 November 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi and DraftKings Inc. announced today that the DraftKings Sportsbook will become the featured retail sportsbook at Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi. The plans call for an all-new, expansive retail sportsbook area that will open in January 2024. The current retail sportsbook at Golden Nugget - Biloxi is now powered by DraftKings’ product and technology and includes many of the same features available on the DraftKings Sportsbook app, giving customers the ability to place Same Game Parlays, prop bets and an array of in-play betting options. “Our team is proud to announce the addition of the DraftKings Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi,” said Chett Harrison, General Manager of Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi. “Together with the leadership team at DraftKings, we are creating an amenity that patrons can enjoy, while offering sports fans an unparalleled sports betting experience at one of the top entertainment destinations in Mississippi.” Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi will transform a portion of the former buffet into the new DraftKings Sportsbook. The space will include three video walls with state-of-the-art LED screens, and a viewing area with VIP and stadium seating. In addition to the updated viewing experience, the retail sportsbook will also include seventeen live betting kiosks, and five betting windows. “The Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi is known for providing customers with a luxurious entertainment experience,” said Michael Kibort, Sr. Director of Retail Sportsbook Operations at DraftKings. “We look forward to opening the doors to the newest addition to the property with a state-of-the-art retail sportsbook.” Michael Patrick’s Sports Bar & Grill Sportsbook and kiosks are currently utilizing DraftKings technology to operate back-end sports betting services. The current Sportsbook and kiosks will remain available for guests to enjoy and bet on their favorite sports while the new area for the DraftKings Sportsbook location is being constructed. Regular hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to midnight. Customers are also able to place bets 24/7 on kiosks throughout the casino floor.
