Detroit: Casino revenue up

DETROIT, Michigan -- Casino revenue in Detroit was up 3.1 percent in October, according to the Detroit Free Press.

The figures were released by the Michigan Gaming Control Board and show that MGM Grand Detroit saw the biggest increase at 4.2 percent over the same month last year, the report said.

The figures for 2010 so far indicate an increase of 3 percent over the totals for 2009, The Detroit Free Press said.
