Comanche Nation Entertainment announces the appointment of Michael Starr as CEO17 March 2017(PRESS RELEASE) -- Today Comanche Nation Entertainment announced they have chosen a new CEO, Michael Starr, who has already begun his new position. Mr. Starr is a seasoned professional in the gaming industry. His impressive career began at the famous Sands Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981 where he worked in sales and marketing. As he gained further skills and expertise in the industry, he worked for such household names as Sahara Hotel & Casino, Luxor Hotel & Casino, Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino and Excalibur Hotel & Casino. In March of 2012, Mr. Starr decided to make the move to Indian gaming. "I missed doing the hands-on work that I love," said Mr. Starr about the lateral move, "My professional life consisted wholly of presentations and I needed to return to basics." This change in perspective necessitated a move to Shelton, Washington where Mr. Starr became the Chief Executive Officer of Little Creek Casino Resort. Today, Mr. Starr is enthusiastically reinventing the inner workings of the Comanche Nation Entertainment's casinos: Comanche Nation Casino, Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, Comanche Spur Casino and Comanche Star Casino. The new COO, Scott Tahah, states Mr. Starr is ideal for the job and looks forward to working alongside him. |
