Churchill Downs report improved profits29 July 2011CHURCHILL DOWNS, KENTUCKY -- Profit is up for Churchill Downs who reported Q2 results this week, according to The Kansas City Star. The increase is the result of online betting and casino acquisitions and the company's "growth-through-diversification strategy" the report said. Q2 profit rose 45 percent, revenue for Q2 rose 16 percent, according to the Kansas City Star report. |
