Christmas Day feast on menu at Pala

PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Those culinary experts at Pala Casino Resort and Spa have carved out Christmas day masterpieces for diners on Tuesday, Dec. 25, at Choices, the Buffet, the Oak Room steak house and the Pala Café.

Choices, Southern California’s largest buffet, will tempt palates with holiday favorites and many special selections including Chilled Canadian King Crab, a selection of house-made Sushi, Oysters on the Half Shell, Butter Poached Baby Lobster Tail, Teriyaki Salmon Fillet, Chilled Snow Crab Cluster, Chinese-Style Stir-Walnut Shrimp, Asian Roasted Duck, Carved Roasted Prime Bone In Rib Eye, Grilled Bone In Rib Eye Steaks, Chateaubriand Beef, French Crusted Pork Rack, Honey Mustard Lamb Rack, Honey & Clove Glazed Holiday Ham and Lobster Bisque Soup. A brunch menu also will be served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pala’s award-winning Pastry Chef Albert Cruz also will offer his decadent selection of over 80 desserts.

The feasting can begin for just $36 per person. Pala Privileges card members and one guest may enjoy Christmas Day dinner for $28.80 per person; Gold level cardholders and one guest, $25.20 per person; Platinum, $18 per person, and Elite members and one guest are free. The Oak Room will offer a Christmas Day dinner of Chateaubriand with soufflé potatoes and baby vegetables in béarnaise sauce with a red wine reduction; Coconut Battered Shrimp with mango cranberry chutney or Escargots in a creamy garlic sauce bake with a brioche crust and Lobster Bisque or a Caesar Salad, with Chef Albert’s Yule Log for dessert, all for $65 per person. Pala Cafe will tempt Christmas Day diners with a special Bone In Prime Rib of Beef in natural juices with wild mushrooms, Bread Pudding and Corn and Crab Chowder with Puff Pastry and Chef Albert’s Yule Log for $29.95 per person. Seating is open.
