Centaur files for bankruptcy protection

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana -- Owner Of Hoosier Park horse track and casino filed for bankruptcy this weekend, according to the Indianapolis Business Journal.

The casino, racetrack and hotel will continue to operate as normal during Chapter 11 reorganization, the report noted.

Centaur LLC, who own Hoosier, have been struggling with debt for a while and complain that the ongoing Indiana gambling taxes are the reason it cannot repay it, the Business-Journal report said.
