Caesars Host Job Fair

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey – (PRESS RELEASE) -- Where do you go if you're looking for a job in retail or restaurants? What's the best place to work if you want a job in Atlantic City? And who do you call if you're interested in working in the luxurious settings of some of the top names in the fashion industry? The Pier at Caesars, the luxury retail, dining, and entertainment complex that's set to open this summer on the 50-yard line of Atlantic City's Boardwalk.

Starting this summer, more than 2,400 positions are becoming available at The Pier at Caesars. To fill these jobs, The Pier at Caesars will be hosting for the tenants of the property an Employment Fair at Caesars Palladium Ballroom on Monday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (The Palladium Ballroom will close between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day)

The Employment Fair is the place to be. Retailers will be available to collect resumes and discuss opportunities with prospective managers, assistant managers, associates, and security officers. Restaurateurs will be there too. They'll be looking to fill service positions as well as kitchen staff. In addition, Atlantic Pier Associates, the development company behind The Pier at Caesars, will be accepting applications for security, customer service, and housekeeping positions.

Interested applicants should dress for success, and be prepared with enough resumes to distribute. With more than 100 retail establishments and 10 restaurants opening at The Pier, it's important to have enough personal information on hand to leave behind. The employers on hand will be looking to find job applicants that best suit their brands and the positions available. Applicants will have the opportunity to meet store and restaurant representatives.

The Pier at Caesars will be home to over 100 high- and mid-end retailers, including Gucci, Burberry, Judith Ripka, Louis Vuitton, A/X Armani Exchange and Tiffany & Co. The restaurants will include concepts by uber restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow, Chef Todd English, Philadelphia's Steven Starr, Baltimore's Phillips Seafood, and Patrick Lyons of Boston.

"Atlantic City is on the rise. In 2005, the annual gaming revenue for the city's 13 casinos rose 4.4 percent to $5.2 billion. With the strong demand for non-gaming activities in Atlantic City, the outlook for continued employment growth is strong," said Jim Boyle, general manager of The Pier at Caesars. "We're expecting to see a big turnout."
