Caesars Foundation Donates $500,000

INDIANA – As reported by the Business First of Louisville: "The Caesars Foundation of Floyd County, the charitable organization for the Caesars Indiana riverboat casino, has donated $500,000 to Norton Healthcare Inc.'s Kosair Children's Hospital through the Children's Hospital Foundation.

"The funds will be used for the planned renovation and expansion of the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, according to a news release.

"In 2004, 1,151 infants from Kentucky and Indiana were admitted to Kosair's 87-bed neonatal unit to be treated for conditions such as low birth-weight or other complications at birth…"
