Boyd Gaming announces plans for Suncoast Hotel and Casino renovations21 March 2024(PRESS RELEASE) -- Boyd Gaming Corporation announced plans for a total renovation of the Suncoast Hotel & Casino. Continuing work that began in late 2023, Boyd plans to completely transform Suncoast, creating an all-new, modern experience for residents of the Summerlin area and the entire Valley. Last year, Suncoast debuted its all-new High Limit Room, providing a more intimate and upscale gaming experience. Just a few months later, Suncoast welcomed William B’s Steakhouse, a refreshed and classically elegant steakhouse with a bustling bar scene, an inspiring menu and a modern yet inviting atmosphere. Work will accelerate in the coming days as Suncoast begins construction of a state-of-the-art sportsbook near the east entrance to the casino. Set to open by this coming football season, the stadium-style sports viewing experience will include one of the largest high-resolution, wrap-around LED screens in the Las Vegas Valley. Next year, Suncoast’s bingo players will be given an all-new experience as Suncoast opens a sleek and energetic bingo room right off the casino floor. In addition to offering bingo aficionados an updated and modern experience, the room will offer much greater convenience with its location adjacent to the main parking garage walkway. Future steps also include: - A comprehensive update and expansion of the Suncoast’s banquet and meeting space. In addition to giving the Suncoast’s meeting space an elegant and welcoming new look, the property will nearly double its current meeting space capacity; - A modernization and renovation of the Suncoast bowling center; - The addition of a new food hall concept; - A brand-new hotel front desk and check-in area; - And finally, the transformation of the Suncoast casino floor, giving the entire public space an updated, modern look and feel. The centerpiece of the renovated casino floor will be a contemporary, 70-seat raised center bar, which will modernize the look and feel of the property as guests enter through the porte cochère doors. Steve Schutte, Executive Vice President of Operations of Boyd Gaming, said: “We have been proud to serve this neighborhood for nearly 25 years now, and we want to make certain that the Suncoast keeps improving and evolving with this community. The all-new Suncoast Hotel and Casino will begin a new chapter in this property’s great history as we create an enhanced and modern gaming experience for our friends and neighbors in the Summerlin and northwest Las Vegas communities.”
