Boomtown Casino and Hotel Reno Rings in New Year

Reno, Nevada -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Boomtown Casino and Hotel Reno will toast 2005 with a New Year's Eve celebration of free champagne, party favors and free live entertainment.

Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve will start the festivities as it is broadcast on casino and bar televisions. Guests can accompany America's quintessential New Year's countdown show with free BoomtownÒ party favors and noisemakers

Then, as the New Year arrives, a balloon drop will cover Boomtown's outer cabaret area and southeast casino floor with colorful balloons. The New Year will also be toasted with free champagne.

In the Family Fun CenterSM, a balloon drop will welcome 2005. Free cookies and refreshments will also be served in the Fun Center's award-winning party room.

Boomtown's Can Can TheaterSM will rock in the New Year with a free performance by Tony Vee from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. The five-member band will wrap audiences in an energetic mix of R&B, rock and top 40 hits of the last four decades. Sweet melodies like "Dock of the Bay," "Unchained Melody" and Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight" will be joined by such rocking hits as "Old Time Rock and Roll" by Bob Seger and Huey Lewis' "Heart of Rock and Roll." The soulful sounds of Teddy Pendergrass and Barry White are also a specialty of lead singer Tony Vee.
