William Hill Sports Book expands virtual racing across Nevada

15 December 2016

(PRESS RELEASE) -- William Hill, America's leading Sports Book operator, is now taking bets on Virtual Racing at four of its Reno Sports Books.

Combining stunning graphics and the voice of legendary race caller Tom Durkin, William Hill Virtual Racing allows sports bettors to wager on an endless lineup of simulated horse races. With a new race every five minutes, sports book patrons can bet Win, Place, Show, Exactas, and Trifectas on lineups that range from eight to twelve animated horses.

After a successful field trial of Virtual Racing at two Las Vegas locations, William Hill Sports Books at the Plaza Casino and Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino, the Gaming Commission gave final approval for expansion of the product in November. As of this week, Northern Nevada patrons can bet Virtual Racing for the first time at the William Hill Sports Books inside the Circus Circus Hotel Casino - Reno, Club Cal Neva Casino, Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, and Silver Legacy Resort Casino.

William Hill plans to introduce Virtual Racing at additional Sports Book locations across the state in the upcoming weeks, including William Hill Sports Books inside the following casinos: Skyline Restaurant and Casino, Downtown Grand Las Vegas, The D Las Vegas, SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino - Lake Tahoe, MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa, Edgewater Hotel and Casino, Eureka Casino Resort, Silver Nugget Casino, Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Gambling Hall, Primm Valley Resort and Casino, and Boomtown Casino - Reno.

William Hill partnered with Inspired Gaming Group, the global leader of Virtual Sports, to develop the only approved Virtual Sports product in Nevada. Inspired currently supplies its Virtual Sports products in more than 35,000 venues on over 100 websites in 30 countries, and has over fifteen years of experience in the industry.

"William Hill has worked diligently with regulators and Inspired over the past two years to bring Virtual Racing to Nevada. Virtual Sports wagering is very popular with bettors across the globe and it fits with our commitment of bringing the most expansive and innovative wagering menu to our Nevada customers," said Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill U.S.

"Inspired is delighted to be partnering with William Hill to bring its world-class Virtual Sports products to Nevada Sports Books for the first time. Following successful technical field trial, we look forward to expanding our product offering to further venues, with new market-specific products coming soon," added Steve Rogers, COO Digital Games, Inspired.
