Boogie Nights return to Atlantic City

12 May 2008

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- (PRESS RELEASE) -– Atlantic City announced that Boogie Nights, one of the hottest dance clubs in Atlantic City, will be open every Friday and Saturday night starting May 9, 2008. Boogie Nights will also begin offering a range of cool and funky merchandise for sale, also starting May 9.

Boogie Nights is Atlantic City's newest and hottest nightclub. The result of a collaboration between Resorts and Planet Rose creator David Pena, Boogie Nights originally debuted as a series of parties on select nights. Now with such an overwhelming response, the disco ball will spin every Friday and Saturday night beginning May 9.

"Boogie Nights has been a huge success for Resorts and a fun place to party for our guests," said Tony Rodio, Regional President of Resorts Atlantic City and The Atlantic City Hilton. "The response has been wonderful. In fact, many guests are coming to Boogie Nights dressed in 70s and 80s costumes. It's great! We love to see that level of spirit."

Dressing up will be even easier starting May 9, when customers will be able to purchase a range of exclusive Boogie Nights logo apparel and merchandise at "The Boogie Nights Boutique", including t-shirts, tank tops and short shorts. Pricing for merchandise is as follows: Men's and women's logo T-shirts: $25; Men's and women's logo 3/4 sleeve jerseys $28; Women's logo tanks: $22; Women's short shorts: $25; Wigs: $24; light up hair accessories: $8; logo martini and shot glasses: $5; and logo key chains $3.

Boogie Nights is dedicated to celebrating the music, style and pop culture of the 70s and 80s. Guests are treated to their favorite disco, pop and dance hits, spun by the hottest DJs in the area. The light up dance floor, spectacular light show and wall of music videos and visual imagery from the 70s and 80s set the retro mood. Among the many characters at Boogie Nights, guests can expect to see Roller Girl zipping around on rollers skates, Mr. Boogie the Emcee, and the Boogie Nights dancers.

The visual imagery, pulsating dance beat, and lively atmosphere at Boogie Nights keep customers returning for more. And Boogie Nights continues to deliver as it will now be open both Friday and Saturday Nights, with cool retro merchandise for sale at The Boogie Nights Boutique. Admission is just $5 on Fridays and $10 on Saturdays. Admission is free for Ultra and Elite members of the Resorts Destination Casino Club.

Boogie Nights is located on the Dining Level between The Ballroom and Capriccio. Doors open at 9:00 PM. Table reservations, VIP seating and bottle service available.
