BetMGM Book Bar and Grill ready for football season18 September 2020(PRESS RELEASE) -- With the start of football season, fans will notice several changes in the game itself, and those visiting Gold Strike Casino Resort’s BetMGM Book Bar and Grill will also notice a few changes to the menu including more sports bar favorites and Southern classics. “We are reopening BetMGM in conjunction with the start of college and NFL football, and revamping the menu with many additional fan favorites,” said Gold Strike Executive Chef Anthony Cieplinski. “Our wings come traditional and boneless, grilled and fried, and tossed in any of our 10 signature sauces. We’ve also rolled out new burger, steak and southern cuisine options for guests to enjoy.” A variety of soups, salads and starters provide plenty of “pre-game” options, and for those looking to share or feed a few members of the team, new items include Ultimate BBQ Nachos with beef brisket, Firecracker Shrimp and the Munchie Sampler loaded with baby back ribs, chicken tenders and Southwestern egg rolls. Burgers are sports bar staples, and four options can be found on the BetMGM menu. Choices range from the BetMGM Burger with pickles, American cheese and burger sauce, to the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Burger, Mushroom Swiss Burger, and the Blowout Burger with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, fried onions and bacon. Stadium mainstays like the Holy Polish grilled Polish sausage, Italian Beef and the Lap Dog chili cheese dog are also newcomers to BetMGM. Southern-inspired entrées include the Dirty Rice Bowl, BBQ Shrimp and the Mississippi Catfish Platter, while steak offerings like The Big Bone, a 24 oz. porterhouse steak and a 14 oz. ribeye are also available. “Whether college or NFL football, BetMGM is open for all the games,” said MGM Southeast SVP of Marketing & Operations Brandon Dardeau. “We look forward to Saturday and Sunday game days, but also Monday Night Football which will feature promotions and food and drink specials throughout the season.” Sports bets can be placed at the betting windows at the entrance to BetMGM or 24/7 at one of the 12 kiosks located throughout the resort. Fans are greeted inside the 6,000-square-foot venue by two 16-foot wide by 9-foot tall video displays that can operate as 16 individual screens, in various combinations or as one large display. Underneath the viewing wall sits a 50-foot-long bar with 16 video poker machines. High top, low top and booth seating is available in the dining room with plush sofas and chairs in the lounge, all offering prime sports viewing angles. Throughout the venue, plenty of device-charging ports are available at the bar and lounge tables. For the health and safety of guests and team members, tables are spaced to allow for social distancing and face masks are required. Health and safety protocols at Gold Strike are in accordance with MGM Resorts International’s comprehensive Seven-Point Safety Plan. The plan infuses health and safety into the resort experience and includes masks, training and mandatory temperature checks for team members; physical distancing; handwashing stations and enhanced sanitization; HVAC controls and air quality; incident response protocols and digital innovations. |
