BetMGM Book Bar and Grill now open at Gold Strike Casino Resort

27 September 2021

(PRESS RELEASE) -- With the start of football season, Gold Strike Casino Resort’s BetMGM Book Bar & Grill is the prime location for game day in the Mid-South.

“BetMGM Book Bar & Grill is the ideal place to watch your favorite football teams compete, and with more than 50 large screens carrying all of the games simultaneously there is not a bad seat in the house,” said Gold Strike Director of Food & Beverage Bruce Cartwright. “For football season, in addition to great giveaways for select games, we introduce several new drink specials as well as a slider trio to the menu, in addition to our regular fan favorites.”

Fans are greeted inside the 6,000-square-foot BetMGM Book Bar & Grill by two 16-foot wide by 9-foot tall video displays that can operate as 16 individual screens, in various combinations or as one large display. Underneath the viewing wall sits a 50-foot-long bar with 16 video poker machines. High top, low top and booth seating is available in the dining room with plush sofas and chairs in the lounge, all offering prime sports viewing angles. Throughout the venue, plenty of device-charging ports are available at the bar and lounge tables.

Sports bets can be placed at the betting windows at the entrance to BetMGM Book Bar & Grill, on the BetMGM mobile app, or 24/7 at one of the 12 kiosks located throughout the resort. M life Rewards members earn Tier Credits for bets placed at participating BetMGM Sportsbooks & Racebooks including Gold Strike.

The BetMGM Book Bar & Grill kitchen opens for Thursday night games with Pizzas and Crispy Wings on the menu. Pizza toppings include cheese, pepperoni or sausage, while wings are served with a choice of hot, sweet chili or honey garlic sauce, carrots, celery and ranch.

Fans can quench their thirst with nightly beer and cocktail specials, including the Front Five Bucket O’5 featuring five bottles of Budweiser, Coors, Miller, Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois or Heineken for $18. Specialty cocktails are offered for $9 and include the Gator-Rita!, 1800 Silver Tequila, Blue Curacao, lemon lime Gatorade and lemonade; the Red Zone made with 360 Vodka, Zing Zang, blended spices, a squeeze of lime and brown ale beer; and the Audible, a blend of Southern Comfort and ginger beer. The Powerplay features Crown Royal Whiskey, honey and Angostura Bitters, while the Gold 42 Up! is mixed with Proper No Twelve Irish Whiskey with fresh mint and lemonade. The Omaha features Blue Note Juke Joint Whiskey, pineapple, lemon juice and Angostura Bitters.

Every Friday through Monday, the feature item is the BetTrio, a trio of BBQ Brisket, Nashville Chicken and Catfish Po’Boy sliders. With the purchase of a BetTrio, guests can enjoy two-for-one BetRitas, made with Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila, Triple Sec, Lemon and Lime.

A variety of soups, salads and starters provide plenty of “pre-game” options, and for those looking to share or feed a few members of the team, include Ultimate BBQ Nachos with beef brisket, Firecracker Shrimp and the Munchie Sampler loaded with baby back ribs, chicken tenders and Southwestern egg rolls.

Burgers are sports bar staples, and four options can be found on the BetMGM Book Bar & Grill menu. Choices range from the BetMGM Burger with pickles, American cheese and burger sauce, to the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Burger, Mushroom Swiss Burger, and the Blowout Burger with jalapenos, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, fried onions and bacon. Stadium mainstays like the Holy Polish grilled Polish sausage, Italian Beef and the Lap Dog chili cheese dog can also be found at BetMGM Book Bar & Grill.
