Barry Weiss named brand ambassador of Sherwood Valley Casino4 June 2019(PRESS RELEASE) -- Sherwood Valley Rancheria Casino today announced that media celebrity and world-famous collector Barry Weiss has entered into a marketing agreement to be the brand ambassador and spokesperson for the off-beat Northern Californian casino, located next to Hwy 101 in the town of Willits, California. The local’s casino is known for being fun and friendly in a neighborly way. Since the age of 15 Barry Weiss has made a name for himself as an antique collector, a passion that continues to this day. Barry is a larger-than-life character with a story for every situation. His colorful personality brings out the best of the people around him. Barry is best known from his time on A&E’s hit series “Storage Wars” and spin-off “Barry’d Treasure.” He is a lifelong collector, world traveler, and willing to take a gamble if he thinks lady luck will smile. “We are thrilled to partner with Barry and welcome him to the Sherwood Valley Casino family,” said Michael J. Broderick, General Manager of the casino. “Barry was a natural choice to be the company’s ambassador as he is very charismatic, and we know he will build lasting connections with our guests and our team members. Barry has demonstrated great success communicating with many people from different walks of life, and they sure do relate to him. Everyone loves Barry, and we love him too! The team and I are excited to work with Mr. Weiss and look forward to all the many opportunities to strengthen our position together.” As the global brand ambassador, Barry will help the casino by appearing in print, television, outdoor and radio advertising, as well as the casino’s public relations efforts and online properties. The campaign will kick-off, globally, in the Summer of 2019. “I’m really pleased to be the new brand ambassador and spokesperson for Sherwood Valley Casino. This place never seems to change, and it’s a glorious refuge for distinguished guests from all walks of life. Perfect for late afternoons or late nights,” remarked Barry. “From the outside it doesn’t look like much, and it’s got a generally laid back and pretty mellow crowd, but once I stepped inside, I knew this is the place!” |
