Aussies are coming to Pala's in October26 July 2012PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The Aussies are coming to the Infinity Showroom at Pala Casino Resort and Spa the weekend of October 12-13. Up first will be The Australian Bee Gees, a tribute to the Bee Gees, at 8 p.m. Friday, Friday, October 12. Tickets will be $35 and $30. Then, Australia’s Thunder from Down Under, the Australian male revue, will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, October 13. Tickets will be $32 and $22. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, August 3, for both shows, with no service charge, at the Pala Box Office in the casino, or call 1-877-WIN PALA (1-877-946-7252). The Australian Bee Gees have performed all over the world and are recognized as the most successful Bee Gees tribute show. The Australian Bee Gees feature Michael Clift of Queanbeyan, Australia, on guitar and vocals as Barry Gibb; David Scott, Melbourne, Australia, vocals, as Robin Gibb; and Wayne Hoskin, Melbourne, Australia, on keyboard, guitar and vocals as Maurice Gibb. They are backed by Tony Richards of Auckland, New Zealand, on bass guitar and Rich Powell, a native of Dargaville, New Zealand, who now hails from Las Vegas, Nevada, on drums. The show features the greatest hits from the Brothers Gibb and captures the look, sound and personality of one of the most successful acts in music history. Since the debut of Australia’s Thunder from Down Under in 1991, almost 7 million fans have attended the group’s performances, which almost always are sold out. |
