Atlantic City: Resorts takeover prompts union to seek talks22 November 2010ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Next month Gomes Gaming Group will take over Resorts Atlantic City next month, according to Bloomberg. The union which represents the Resorts workers is hoping to mitigate against the worst case scenario of job and pay cuts, the report said. The union is engaging in "effects bargaining" in an effort to help workers, who've been warned they will be rehired at lower salaries, the Bloomberg report explained. |
