Arizona casino expansion planned for November7 August 2007ARIZONA -- As reported by the Bajo El Sol: "The Cocopah Tribe plans to open its resort and conference center on Nov. 1, in time for the area's busy winter visitor season. "If the tribe meets that timetable, the Cocopah Conference Center and Resort open almost exactly a year after construction began at the site located next to the tribe's casino along Highway 95. "The 70,000-square-foot development, designed in Southwestern style, will consist of 101 rooms, including seven suites, four restaurants, a gift shop, a bar, a swimming pool, a business center and a gym, plus a conference center of more than 33,000 square feet..." |
