All dealers at second casino are Singaporeans or PRs1 March 2010SINGAPORE -- Marina Bay Sands has recruited Singaporeans and permanent residents for all its 1,800 dealer positions thus far, Asia Business One reported. The resort expected to have problems filling the jobs locally, but there proved sufficient demand in the local market, Asia Business One said. Training for the dealers began six weeks ago and lasts seven weeks, the report said. The resort will employ 3,600 staff when it opens April 27, 2010, according to Asia Business One. |
