Future Odds 2003

1 May 2003

Have you been watching the Travel Channel lately? The show to see for poker players is the World Poker Tour. Some of the best players in the world are in the tournament and the best part is the viewer gets to see the players' hole cards.

The game is Texas Hold'Em, known as the Cadillac of poker. Watching the action helps the viewer learn the nuances of this most popular game. Poker is played all over the world, and the show goes to exotic locations. The tour started and ended at the Bellagio Hotel right here in Las Vegas. The $25,000 final championship was held about a month ago and the finish is not to be missed. There are a couple of hands that I'm really looking forward to seeing. I don't know whether a great bluff took place or the guy had the goods. The show is taped and is aired each Wednesday.

There are many future book odds that are available all over town. As I've suggested before, always check out at least three different sportsbooks to get a feel for the best number being offered.
These lines are courtesy of the Palms Hotel and Casino.
Odds may change at any time.
Not all players are listed in this column, but are posted in sportsbook.
