What do you think of my slot strategy?

I am wondering what your opinion is of the strategy that I currently use when playing dollar slots. I first choose a slot that requires three dollars max to get the big jackpot. I insert a $100 bill then I play one dollar each time I push the button. I can usually hit a pretty decent payoff within the first 50 dollars. Then I am outta there on to the next machine. Playing one dollar each time extends my play time on a machine and gives me more chances to get a decent payout. I know I won't hit the "Big One," but the chances of that are slim and none, based on my past experience. I am happy to get the small payouts and play longer. What do you think?

I think you have a fine strategy. You're absolutely right that playing one dollar at a time will extend your playing time.

I would suggest, however, that you pick your machines carefully. Never play this strategy on a Buy-A-Pay, a machine on which additional coins buy additional winning combination. And I wouldn't play it on a progressive. The strategy is perfect for straight multipliers.

Your chances of hitting the "Big One" are small, never none. Because the chances of hitting the jackpot are small, you can even use the strategy on bonus multipliers (machines that pay a bonus on the jackpot for full coin).
