The Slot Expert's Guide to Winning at Slots and Video Poker

Last week, I gave a tip for all casino games that I call the Dunkin' Donuts Comp. This week I want to take it one step further with a play I call Comp Yourself.

Comp Yourself is the Dunkin' Donuts comp applied on a larger scale. Suppose your goal is to earn enough points for a free buffet. If you're ever ahead by enough to pay for the buffet yourself, stop playing. Pay for the buffet with your winnings, rather than taking a chance on losing it all back and then some trying to get the buffet for free.

On an even larger scale, suppose your goal is to earn enough points to get your stay for free. If you ever win enough to pay for your expenses, stop playing. You've at least broken even at this point. Don't take a chance on giving your profit back to the casino. You may get your room and meals comped, and you may also end up losing money too.
