Slot and Video Poker Player's New Year's Resolutions

I will play the optimal number of coins for each machine.
For slots, check the tips I have posted on this site. For video poker, play one coin or five coins per hand and nothing in between.

I will play the highest-paying games in my denomination at my favorite casino.
For slots, look for machines that are certified. For video poker, play only the best paytables available and learn the strategies for those paytables.

I will join the slot club and always use my card when I play.
Always use your card when you play, even if you have to wait in line to get another one because you forgot yours.

I will control the pace when I play.
Don't let the sights and sounds of the casino get you to play faster than you want to.
