New E-Newsletter Connects Players with Casino Management

Have you ever wanted to get a casino's management's ear to let them know what they're doing wrong and what they're doing right? A new e-newsletter written by players and sent to managers in casinos all around the country will connect you with casino management.

PLAYBACK – a Casino Customer-to-Management E-Newsletter, debuts January 2003

PLAYBACK, the first casino management e-newsletter based entirely on player input, will distribute its premier issue in January 2003. According to editors Norma Foote, Scotch Henderson and Scot Krause, “PLAYBACK will be a forum from which players will discuss both positive casino experiences and negative experiences with constructive suggestions.”

PLAYBACK is now accepting articles and letters from players across the country. Articles should be between 500 – 1500 words in length, well-written with specifically developed ideas. All articles used in PLAYBACK will be compensated. Writers may either submit the entire article or a preliminary outline to playback@mgci.com. Specific compensation amounts will be quoted to the writer prior to publication.

Players may also submit their ideas more informally in letter form to playback@mgci.com. Published letter contributors will not be compensated, but will receive complementary copies of all issues for one year.

Articles and letters can also be mailed to: Scotch Henderson, 3690 S. Eastern Avenue, Suite 213, Las Vegas, NV 89109-3377. All contributors should include their email, mailing address and phone number.

PLAYBACK will be tentatively published on a semi-monthly basis as part of the CDC E-Report Series, which currently includes the Adams Daily Report, Adams Review, and CDC’s own monthly Marketing and Operations Insight Newsletters.
