How to press the bet max button29 September 2008
Dear Karen, I'm confused. First you say that there's "really no way of knowing if my strategy works" and then you say "works for me." There is a way to see if your strategy works. Play a few hundreds spins hitting the Bet Max button your way and play the same number just hitting the button in the center. Keep track of the number of hits you get with each method. You'll find that the percentage of spins that are hits will be very close. The Bet Max button is just a switch and it doesn't matter where on the button you press. The same signal indicating the button was pressed gets sent to the program running the slot machine regardless of the technique you use to press the button. As I said, the Bet Max button is just a switch, like a wall switch for a ceiling light. Expecting to get different results from a slot machine depending on where you press the Bet Max button is like expecting where you touch that light switch to make the ceiling light brighter. You asked me to pass on your tip. Consider it passed on. Best of luck in and out of the casinos, Send your slot and video poker questions to John Robison, Slot Expert, at slotexpert@comcast.net. Because of the volume of mail I receive, I regret that I can't reply to every question. This article is provided by the Frank Scoblete Network. Melissa A. Kaplan is the network's managing editor.
