How do you calculate slot club cash back percentage?23 November 2009
Dear Jason, Thanks for the kind words about my columns. In your example you said that you need 1,000 points to get $1 back. How much action do you have to give to earn 1,000 points? If you get 2 points for each dollar played, you need to give $500 in action. $1/$500 = 0.2%. The equation for cash back percentage is: Cash Back / (Points x DollarsPerPoint) x 100. Plugging in the numbers from your example: $1 / (1,000 x 0.5) x 100 = 0.2%. Best of luck in and out of the casinos, Send your slot and video poker questions to John Robison, Slot Expert, at slotexpert@comcast.net.
