Do my choices matter in video keno?22 November 2008
Dear Carla, No, it makes no difference which numbers you choose on video keno. Before the draw, each number is equally likely to be drawn, so it doesn't matter what you choose. I was originally going to answer, jokingly, no and yes. Before the draw, your choices don't matter. But after the draw, your choices do matter because if you had chosen more of the numbers drawn, you would have won more money. But, of course, I'm joking. You have to make your choices before the numbers are drawn and you have no useful information about which numbers will be drawn — unless you can travel into the future. By the way, if you can travel into the future and come back to the present, please drop me a line. We have much to discuss. Best of luck in and out of the casinos, Send your slot and video poker questions to John Robison, Slot Expert, at slotexpert@comcast.net. Because of the volume of mail I receive, I regret that I can't reply to every question. This article is provided by the Frank Scoblete Network. Melissa A. Kaplan is the network's managing editor.
