Do all denominations on a multi-denominational machine have the same payback?24 November 2008
Dear Guy, Thanks for the kind words about my column. The potential for the long-term payback to go up as you increase denomination on a multi-denomination machine certainly exists. You can see the paytable get more generous for the higher denominations on multi-denom machines with video poker games. We'll never know for sure with slot games because we can't tell the long-term paybacks for them, but as I said the potential exists. It might be wishful thinking, but I like to think that you'll enjoy higher long-term paybacks when you bet the higher denominations on multi-denomination machines. Best of luck in and out of the casinos, Send your slot and video poker questions to John Robison, Slot Expert, at slotexpert@comcast.net. Because of the volume of mail I receive, I regret that I can't reply to every question. This article is provided by the Frank Scoblete Network. Melissa A. Kaplan is the network's managing editor.
