Are the paybacks the same on progressives?17 November 2007
According to the par sheets for progressive machines I've seen, I would say that all of the machines in one gaming jurisdiction have the same long-term payback percentage, but machines in a different jurisdiction may have a different long-term payback. So, all the Jeopardy progressives in Atlantic City have the same long-term payback and all the Jeopardy progressives in Nevada have the same long-term payback, but the two paybacks are not necessarily the same. Best of luck in and out of the casinos,
Dear Alina, I assume you're referring to the Diamond tier in Harrah's Total Rewards program. According to the information on the Harrah's site, Diamond tier requires that you earn 10,000 tier credits per year. You earn one tier credit for each $5 coin-in on a slot machine and each $10 coin-in on a video poker machine. Best of luck in and out of the casinos, Send your slot and video poker questions to John Robison, Slot Expert, at slotexpert@comcast.net. Because of the volume of mail I receive, I regret that I can't reply to every question. Recent Articles
