Pong and Guaranteed Play Video Poker18 September 2007
Sometimes the road from showcase to casino slot floors takes a few months. Sometimes it's a few years.
In the few months department, there's IGT's Guaranteed Play Video Poker, one of the most buzzworthy products at the 2006 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas last November.

For about a lifetime now, I've been telling gamblers that in most games, past results have no effect on future outcomes. (Blackjack is an exception, since each card dealt out changes the composition of the remaining deck, altering the odds of the game.)

My video poker-playing friend Bob has mostly confined his play to three games over the years: Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild and Double Bonus Poker.
