Q. Can you explain sports futures bets to me? I mean, like when you bet on who's going to win the NL pennant before the season. My brother told me these are sucker bets, but I don't really understand how the house makes its money.
A. The house makes money on futures bets by offering you less than true odds, just as on any other bet in the casino.

Q. I was looking online at the Wizard of Odds site (wizardodfodds.com), and found a page that says that continuous shufflers actually lower the house edge in blackjack. You've recommended playing in hand-shuffled games or in games with non-continuous shuffling machines, and not playing with continuous shufflers.

Q. I was playing three-card poker, and was winning pretty good, and wanted to tip the dealer. I put down an ante bet for the dealer, and had a pair of 6s, so I went to raise both my bet and the dealer's bet. The dealer told me I was not allowed to raise on the dealer's bet.
