"Poker Face" part of Palms advertising campaign

LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- The hit single, "Poker Face" by pop star Lady Gaga, will be featured in new advertising campaign for the Palms Casinos.

The Palms signed an agreement, which allows the casino exclusive rights to use the song for a television commercial that will also be shown online. The advertisement was expected to debut today.

"Poker Face" has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Dance Recording.

Lady Gaga, will perform two sold out shows at the Pearl Concert Theater inside the Palms on Dec. 17-18.

The commercial features the Palms Fantasy suites, Playboy Club, Simon at Palms Place restaurant and the Rain Nightclub.

Palms owner George Maloff thought the advertising campaign was a way to connect the Palms with Lady Gaga and her fan base.

In addition, Maloof said, "The commercial is hot."
