Affinity Gaming selects Reganato as chairman

16 September 2015

Casino operator Affinity Gaming said Tuesday David Reganato has been elected chairman of the company's board replacing Richard Parisi.

No reason was given for the change.

Both Reganato and Parisi are senior investment analysts for Connecticut-based Silver Point Capital, which is Affinity's second largest shareholder with 25.1 percent of the Las Vegas-based company. Illinois-based Z Capital controls 40.5 percent of Affinity. Z Capital CEO James Zenni has been attempting to acquire their entire company over the past two years, his latest offer coming in June.

Affinity is not publicly traded but has publicly held debt. The company operates 11 casinos in Nevada, Colorado, Iowa and Missouri, including the off-Strip Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino and the three Primm Resorts.

Reganato also serves on the boards of Granite Broadcasting Corp., Studio City International Holdings Limited and Rotech Healthcare, Inc.
