Casino City Times columnist Dr. Donald Catlin, of Amherst, MA, died peacefully on Monday, January 11, after a short illness. Don was born on April 29, 1936, in Erie, Pennsylvania, son of the late Marian Carlson Catlin and F.H. Catlin. When we go to a casino, and normally we find this in Vegas and not as much on the riverboat casinos in our area, we will see the five-dollar tables filled while the dealer stands with no players at a hundred-dollar table.
